What is the difference between rich black and 100% black?

While a rich black mix allows printing a deeper and darker black colour, it's not always recommended for text, particularly smaller fonts. In addition, using a mixture of different ink colours to create rich black text can result in a less legible and blurry result, making it harder to read and understand.

In most cases, it's recommended to use 100% black ink for text and reserve rich black for larger objects such as backgrounds.
