How do I add elements, borders, etc?
Click the elements tab from the side panel and use the search bar to look for specific elements. You can also browse all elements by clicking “See all”. Elements include shapes, lines, illustrations, icons, frames, grids, stickers, charts and gradients. If you want to add a border, simply follow the same process but search ‘borders’ in the search bar.
How do I add images on Canva to my designs?
From the editor side panel, click the “Photos” tab. To look for specific images just type keywords into the search bar or click suggested categories. To add an image to your design simply click on it. Images that you use will be grouped together under “Recently Used” on the “Photos” tab. You can use images as backgrounds by right clicking and click below to change the background.
How do I upload my own images?
You can upload your own images to use in your designs. From the editor side panel, click the tab “uploads”. Select and drag the image to upload it or click the “upload” button. Once it’s been uploaded you can click on the image to add it to your design. You can then easily resize your images, adjust their settings or apply special filters and effects all within Canva!
